Our room was bright and comfy and complete with comfy beds and toiletries. The staff were pleasant and competent, thanks to them everything was good. The location was marvellous - just 5 minutes' walk from St Gregory's Church. The hotel was a great base for enjoying a lovely area.

This place was just a proper fit for a weekend stopover in Pickering with excellent value for money. The bed was comfortable with new furniture, making for a relaxing stay. Consider taking your dog along, they seem welcome here.

I was really happy to find such a comfy inn with a lovely separate lounge and kitchen area. It was a easy stroll to Beck Isle Museum and the picturesque Crypt of Lastingham Church, both giving me a fantastic taste of local history and fine views in the area.
